Study Abroad

More than 100 partner universities spread over five continents: Pforzheim students have the opportunity to study as an exchange student in cities such as Seoul, Buenos Aires or Paris.

You will have the unique experience of immersing yourself in another culture, build international friendships and have the opportunity to deepen your professional knowledge and language skills. Pforzheim University's exchange programs allow you to study abroad without having to pay tuition fees.

The International Office will be happy to assist you throughout the entire process, from application and acceptance of your seat to your return from abroad.

If your plans are already more concrete and you would like to apply for a semester abroad, you will find all the information you need to apply at the following website, as well as the link to the online application process.

Double Degree

For Double Degree students, the semester abroad process is the same, except that the selection is made by the faculty rather than the International Office.

1) After your selection by the coordinators of the double degree program, please register via the online application procedure of the International Office and indicate the program code of your double degree program at priority 1.

2) Upload all required documents.

3) After receiving the data, the International Office will nominate you at the partner university.

In addition to all the information on our website, we also offer a colloqium. This always takes place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11:00 to 12:30 in room W1.2.13 or on Thursdays by phone from 11:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 15:00 at 07231-286142. You do not need to register in advance for this.
