The application deadlines are cut-off deadlines. This means that an application received by the university after the deadline cannot be considered. If the deadline falls on a Sunday, holiday, or Saturday, the deadline ends at the end of that day and is not extended until the end of the next business day.
For more information on dates and deadlines for programs with restricted admissions, see:

You can get an overview of the status of your application for an admission restricted program via the application portal of Pforzheim University and hochschulstart.de. Please note: Changes on the central website hochschulstart.de may be displayed with a time delay.
The status of your application for open admission programs and Master's programs will only be displayed in the application portal of Pforzheim University.
It is important that you prioritize your study programs in time, as this will determine the outcome of your application and thus influence your future place. If you are applying for more than one admission-restricted study program (DoSV application), you must prioritize your study preferences on hochschulstart.de by January 22 (for the summer semester) or July 22 (for the winter semester) at the latest.
Why is this necessary? Due to the coordination rules, applications with a lower priority can be canceled at any time after an admission offer or admission has been made. If admission offers are made in close succession, this may mean that out of your maximum of 12 possible applications, only the application with the highest priority will remain within a very short time, and this will be immediately converted into an admission. We therefore recommend that you prioritize your applications!
