Application Master

Hello prospective students,

we are pleased that you have decided to apply to us! If you have any questions about the application process, please contact our StudiCenter.

Good luck!

Check the application deadline for the degree programme you are interested in. Your complete application must be received by the university by the deadline. The application deadlines are cut-off deadlines, which means that if an application is received after the deadline, it will not be considered.

The application and selection process for the Master's programs depends on the degree program selected. Please go to the overview of Master's degree programs and select the program of your choice for detailed information on the procedure and admission requirements.

Please note: The application procedure for a degree program at the School of Design can be found here: Applying for a Master's program | School of Design

The online application function is activated at the beginning of the application period: Application portal of the HS PF

  • for the winter semester = mid-April
  • for the summer semester = beginning of November

The admission and selection procedure is carried out after the end of the respective application period. Admission and rejection notifications are issued as soon as the processing of the submitted applications for admission has been completed. You will receive your notification via the application portal of Pforzheim University.

However, you cannot begin your studies until you have been enrolled or matriculated. Upon enrollment, admitted applicants receive their student status and become members of our university. Information about enrollment can be found here: Pforzheim University - Enrolment

Proof (e.g. online banking statement, screen shot) of payment of the following fees/contributions must be submitted with the enrollment application:

  • 112 € Student Union Fee
  • 80 € Administration Fee
  • 15 € Student Body Fee
  • 20 € Student ID Fee (if no current ID card is available)
  • The tuition fees for the Master of International Management (MBA) program can be found in the Letter of Admission.

Fees for students in a second degree program

Universities in Baden-Württemberg charge students in a second degree program €650 per semester. A second degree program is a second undergraduate degree after a first degree. The prerequisite for a second degree program is therefore always a completed first degree.
