Students from Partners outside of Europe
For exchange students from outside the EU, Pforzheim University offers a limited number of scholarships from the state
- Baden-Wuerttemberg via a foundation (Baden-Wuerttemberg-Stiftung). Potential students will be contacted by our coordinator directly.
- Stibet I. Contact Scholarship. Sponsored by the DAAD through resources provided by the Federal Foreign Office. Formless Application with a 1 page motivation letter.
Amount: around 800€ in total (as of Winter Semester 2024/25)
Requirements Stibet I:
- Exchange student from a HSPF Partner school
- Exchange student studying outside of Europe
- Participation in international events at the university during their stay (Business & Engineering Exchange students especially Explore Expo every semester in May/November);
ATTENTION: You cannot receive Stibet I contact scholarship if you already receive scholarships supported through German or European organisations such as Erasmus or Baden-Württemberg Scholarship
Please note that scholarships cannot be transferred to online accounts such as Revolut or Wise. A German bank account is required.
Students from Partners in ERASMUS+
The ERASMUS+ program of the EU supports student mobility in Europe. Within the ERASMUS+ program, Pforzheim University has signed several exchange agreements with European universities. Students from these universities may get financial support for studying in Pforzheim via the home (sending) university. A list of partners of Pforzheim University can be found here.
Energy Reporters
This scholarship is aimed at students who wish to report on their experiences abroad in the fields of climate protection and energy economics. Applicants can apply for the summer semester of 2025 by submitting a video application. As an Energy Reporter, participants will receive financial supports of 1,000€ as well as avaluable contacts in the international climate protection and energy sector. Additionally, they will be supported with a certificate of participation for their resume.
Application Deadlines:
For the winter semester: April 1 to September 15
For the summer semester: October 1 to March 15
Requirements:
- 6 contributions on the topics of energy productions, energy efficiency, renewable energy, or climate protection
- 4 video contributions and 2 written contributions
