The use of the university library is regulated by our Statutes.

in the Technology, Economics and Law Library

  • individual study spaces on levels 3 and 2,
  • group study spaces on level 1
  • …a study room for groups of 2 to 12 people with a whiteboard (known as the Rotunda), which must be reserved in advance.
  • ...a soundproof booth for undisturbed phone calls and video calls
  • ...two height-adjustable workstations on level 3 near the service counter
  • ...comprehensive advice and assistance in searching for and finding media
  • ...regular training courses and guided tours
  • ...a standards information point with access to current German DIN and VDE standards as well as VDI guidelines
     

The group study room (rotunda) on level 3 can only be used by students of Pforzheim University. 
You can reserve it here: Pforzheim University – reservation calendar for study spaces. All other study spaces are, of course, accessible to all library users.

 

Rules

  •     Bags and jackets stay outside. These can be stored in compartments or lockers
  •     Set the devices you bring with you to silent mode
  •     Smoking, food and drinks are not allowed. Bring yourself a water bottle
  •     Dogs are not allowed in the rooms (except assistance dogs for blind or handicapped persons)
  •     Observe licensing and copyright regulations when using databases and when copying or downloading
  •    Would you like to display posters or distribute informational materials in the library?
