Language requirements
Study Programs in German
To get admission to study programs in Germany all international students will have to prove adequate language skills in German. For all degree programs Pforzheim University requires German language skills on the level of C2 Goethe Institute. The C1 within the European framework of language qualifications (CEFR) level is equivalent for example with the Sprachdiplom (DSD II), the DSH exam or a TESTDAF score of 4.
Study programs in English
For all study programs in English the Pforzheim University requires adequate language skills in English. Candidate should prove sufficient language skills in English via an international recognised test like the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A TOEFL score of min. 87 (IBT), min. 230 (computer based version) or 560 (ITP) meets the entry requirement. We also accept TOEIC, IELTS, CAEL, CPE and CAE scores that we may convert.
For admission to study programs offered in both German and/or English (or the combination of other languages) applicants will have to prove sufficient language skills (see above) in both languages.
