Interdisciplinary researcher and forward thinker at the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. Managing Director of the Fraunhofer Group for Innovation Research, Director of the Institutes for Human Engineering & Empathic Design HEED at the University of Applied Sciences Pforzheim and Professor for Innovation and Interdisciplinarity Research in the Endowed Chair of the Karl Schlecht Foundation. His work circles arount the topics of strategic innovation, technology and R&D management. Why? Because exciting ideas and technological possibilities that generate added value need to be supported, discussed and disseminated!
After studying at the Universities of Augsburg (DE) and Rennes (FR), graduating in business administration and Maîtrise de Sciences et Techniques, since 2002 at the Fraunhofer IAO / IAT University of Stuttgart in the R&D Management Competence Centre with responsibility for the topic area of strategic R&D and technology management. Since March 2020, Professor for Innovation and Interdisciplinarity Research at the Institute for Human Engineering and Emphatic Design at Pforzheim University.
