(07231) 28-6169Peter Heidrich received a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering 1992 and made his Ph. D. (Dr.-Ing.) 1996, both from the Technical University Berlin, Germany. From 1996 until 2001, he was employee of a large, multinational German electro-technical company. There he worked as engineer in the drive business units for traction applications and for machine tool makers. From 2002 until 2010, he was the director of the drives engineering department of a large German company producing electro-mechanical drive systems. Since 2010, he is a professor in the Faculty of Engineering at the UAS Pforzheim, Germany, teaching control system’s theory, electrical drives, electric machines, and power electronics.
