Welcome to the new MIS students in the winter semester 2025/26

On 29.09.2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming the new Master Information Systems (MIS) students at Pforzheim University for the winter semester 2025/26. The day began with an official welcome on campus, during which the university, the faculty and the degree program were introduced. The new "MIS students" were given an initial insight into the content of the program, the international nature of the course and the wide range of opportunities that will be open to them in the coming semesters.

The introduction was followed by a photo session in which the new students were photographed together with current MIS students. This group photo not only symbolizes the start of a new chapter, but also the international and diverse character of our degree programme.

A special highlight was the relaxed lunch together. This was the first opportunity to talk to each other, exchange experiences and make new contacts. The personal encounters with students from higher semesters proved to be particularly valuable: as tour guides, they accompanied the new students around the campus, gave tips on everyday student life and answered questions about courses, projects and life in Pforzheim.

The event showed how important interaction and personal exchange are for a successful start to your studies. We are very happy about the new faces in the MIS program and wish all students of the WS25/26 class an exciting, insightful and enriching time at Pforzheim University!
