futureTUB is HEED's new format. This is where philosophical discourse and creative storytelling meet in the Creative Space - and together open up new perspectives on the future.

In the first edition, everything revolves around the topic of "Retropie".Retropie means more than just retro or nostalgia. It describes the re-staging of the past as a blueprint for the future - a future that looks like an idealized version of earlier times. For many, looking forward becomes looking back.

But what does this mean for our thinking about tomorrow? What opportunities and risks does this return to the past entail? And what could real, sustainable alternatives look like?

At futureTUB, we ask these and other exciting questions about shaping the future. We think together, question critically and develop new visions of the future. Retropy is not only a topic, but also an invitation to contradiction - with fresh ideas, new narratives and creative perspectives.
