(07231) 28-6111Thomas Schuster ist Professor für Datenbanken und Software Technik. An der Fakultät für Wirtschaft und Recht ist er im Bereich Wirtschaftsinformatik tätig und leitet dort die Studiengänge BW/ Wirtschaftsinformatik- Management & IT (B. Sc.) und Business Administration / Digital Enterprise Management (B. Sc.). Darüber hinaus vertritt er seinen Lehrbereich in weiteren Masterstudiengängen der Fakultäten Technik sowie Wirtschaft und Recht.
Neben der Leitung des futureLab koordiniert er gemeinsam mit der Wirtschaftsförderung
Nordschwarzwald GmbH derzeit das Projekt KI Lab Nordschwarzwald. An der Hochschule Pforzheim ist er außerdem der wissenschaftliche Koordinator der Campus IT. Ergänzend zur Software-Technik liegen seine Forschungsinteressen besonders in den Bereichen der Datenanalyse, des technischen Datenschutzes und der Nachhaligkeitsanalyse von cloud-basierten Anwendungssystemen.
