What were two of the key takeaways from your time in the MBA program?
Firstly, business success depends just as much on successful teamwork - and hence good social skills - as on strategy and reliable data. This was evident from the group work that was part of almost all the activities in the program. 
Secondly, anything can be achieved with adequate research, proper execution of a well-made strategy and very importantly, a bold willingness to adapt to change! And all these skills can be developed with practice! The program, through its various activities and disciplines, repeatedly proved all of this to me! 

In what ways did the MBA help prepare you for the German labor market?
The courses on Agile Working and Design Thinking helped understand the importance of embracing change, which is very crucial to perform well today! Also, the numerous networking events like the Guest in Classroom and Meet-Alumni sessions and the business trips to various companies helped me understand how referrals - and thus mutual trust - are a vital component of the German labour market. This helped understand the value of 'It's not just what you know, but also who'!

What advice would you give to those applying?
Keep an open mind, don't worry when mistakes are made and boldly ask questions - the MBA program offers many opportunities to refine yourself, learn from your mistakes and ultimately, discover what about the business world really interests you and how you could thus create a fulfilling career!
