In addition to our research and consulting activities in the area of industrial ecology, we seek to pass on our interdisciplinary specialized knowledge to the university’s students.
To this end, appropriate training concepts and didactic methods for lectures have been developed. Further, in the summer semester of 2006, we successfully developed a simulation game for teaching energy and material flow management.
The Institute for Industrial Ecology supports mainly the in 2011 newly established bachelor program Resource Efficiency Management. The economic study is expanded to the fields of industrial ecology such as resources, environment and production technology. Also in summer semester 2015 newly added master's program Life Cycle & Sustainability was initiated by the INEC.
For focused and committed students, we offer the opportunity to participate in interesting projects and to support our team as a graduate assistant or through work on a thesis. If you are interested in becoming a member of our team, contact us!
