Study Programs in German

In order to receive an admission to study programs in Germany all international students will have to prove adequate language skills in German. For all degree programs Pforzheim University requires German language skills on the level of (minimum) B2 (within the European framework of language qualifications). The DSH exam, the "Sprachdiplom" (DSD II) or a TESTDAF score of 4 in average or the intermediate exam (C1 - Mittelstufenpruefung) of the Goethe Institute are sufficient to fulfill the admission requirements.

Study programs in English

For all study programs in English Pforzheim University requires adequate language skills in English. Candidates should prove sufficient language skills in English via an international recognised test like the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A TOEFL score of min. 85 (570 ITP, 235 computer version, 570 paper version) meets the entry requirement. We also accept TOEICIELTSCAELCPE and CAE scores that we may convert.

For admission to study programs offered in both German and/or English (or the combination of other languages) applicants will have to prove sufficient language skills (see above) in both languages.
