Short overview

The Bachelor study program Mechanical Engineering is one of our undergraduate study programs which lead to the award of a first professional degree.  As one of our graduates you are able to master mechanical engineering and technical organizational tasks.
Students will acquire sound basic knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics and Design which they will be able to apply in problem solving in a wide range of operational areas.  The subject matter of the lectures will be applied to practical projects in the laboratory.  Thus learning will be facilitated and consolidated.
The 5th semester is the practical semester.  Through working at an industrial company students will apply the knowledge they have acquired to “real engineering tasks” in practice.  In their 6th and 7th semesters students are able to choose from 2 majors:
product development or production.
At the end of your studies you will complete your Bachelor thesis.  You will be able to show through this independent scientific assignment that you have the makings of an engineer.
