School of Engineering

We would like to introduce you to the School of Engineering at Pforzheim University. Enjoy your stay and learn more about our bachelor and master degree programs or find out, what we offer at our “Engineers made in Germany”-program – especially for our incoming students.

We offer technical and management-oriented study programs at bachelor and master levels.

At the moment there are about 1,600 students enrolled in our undergraduate and graduate study programs of Information Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Business Administration and Engineering (Industrial Engineering). 50 Professors, 60 academic staff members and 30 lecturers are responsible for teaching, research and administration.

Furthermore, our students are provided with fully-equipped laboratories so that they can pursue their practice-oriented studies. Good mentoring of students is essential to us. Our graduates go on to have successful careers in engineering.

Baden-Württemberg is one of the regions of Europe with the highest concentration of colleges and universities which offer a very research-intensive infrastructure. We are proud to be one of these internationally known institutions and also of the fact that Pforzheim University belongs to the group of seven currently international AACSB accredited academic institutions in Germany. This attests the high quality of teaching, research and study programs at our university.
