Welcome to Pforzheim Business School
Pforzheim Business School can proudly present a 50 year-long tradition of business programs with more than 12.000 graduates. Currently, we have approximately 2.800 students and 85 professors. We offer a broad range of degree programs in Business Administration and Business Law on both Bachelor and Master level. Our Bachelor programs reflect the multitude of fields that exist in business. Our attractive range of Master Programs gives ambitious applicants the opportunity to enhance their qualification. We offer consecutive Master degree programs as well as MBA programs for students with professional experience.
The success of Pforzheim Business School is based on the combination of excellent academic education and the emphasis on practical orientation. We cultivate contacts with more than 500 companies in Germany and abroad where our students work on projects, do their internships, and write their Bachelor or Master theses. The enriching work with professors, their practical experience and the relations with companies make the world of business more comprehensible.
We offer students a multitude of possibilities for making international and cross-cultural experiences – a very important aspect in an increasingly globalized economy. On average we have approximately 100 exchange students in our Business School. Together with their German fellow students they pursue their studies, work on projects and spend their leisure time. About one third of our students stay at least one semester at one of our 50 partner universities all over the world. The international network of Pforzheim Business School and many bilateral partnerships with renowned universities makes this possible.
The fact that students and graduates are highly esteemed in professional life proofs our success. Ranking results confirm this. The German business magazine “Wirtschaftswoche” for example, ranks Business Administration study programs at Pforzheim University among the country‘s best for six consecutive years. In the CHE-ranking of 2011/12 the overall study situation was given the grade 1.6, thus awarding Pforzheim one of the leading positions among 163 ranked Business Schools.
The excellent quality of Pforzheim study programs has now been confirmed by the world most renowned international accreditation agency AACSB International. In Germany, Pforzheim is the first University of Applied Sciences, after six universities, to earn this distinguished hallmark of excellence in management education. In the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg we are the second AACSB accredited Business School.
