Approximately half of Purchasing and Logistics students at Hochschule University have experience in foreign countries through internships, study abroad and the completion of theses in a foreign country. Our department sees the spending of time abroad as an important factor in establishing your career path and, accordingly, experience in a foreign country is seen positively by potential employers.

Internships and term paper topics offered by companies are available either directly over our Career-Center or through the appropriate platforms hosted by businesses, clubs and other associations. In some cases, prior experience in the respective organization is expected. If you are interested in completing an internship or thesis abroad, plan ahead in order to allow time for visa application procedures, which can be highly time-consuming in some cases.

 
Financing your internship

You can apply for financial aid for your internship in a foreign country. InWent (Internationale Weiterbildung und Entwicklung GmbH), for example, offers aid to young people completing an internship abroad. The program is aimed at students of business and applied technology at German universities.
