Creative Communication & Brand Management (M.A.)
Job Opportunities
Where do our graduates work?
The “Master of Arts in Creative Communication & Brand Management” study program has created a new business function – a ‘communication and brand manager’ – this person has the task to solve complex communications problems from a management perspective.
In times when integrated communication is becoming more and more important, this program has created a managerial position in a coordination capacity, which accommodates the changing market requirements.
Furthermore our graduates find positions as managers or self-employed consultants in the ‘classical’ communication fields such as design, agency marketing or brand management. The MCM offers an excellent qualification with the best management promotion opportunities.
The accredited degree obtained after successful completion of the program qualifies our graduates for admission to a career within the civil service (eg grammar school teacher, vocational training school teacher, higher grade civil servant status) and is equivalent to a degree obtained from any other university. The requirements for admission to a doctorate program are also fulfilled. However, please note the specific requirements for each individual university.
The situation on the employment market
The employment market (brand companies, advertising agencies, design agencies) has a demand for new blood who can manage and assess the creative as well as the business side of things. The MCM study program of Pforzheim University, which is unique within Germany, is able to offer the skills required. Our graduates have a clear USP on the employment market. The requirements remain the same while the focus is becoming more and more internationally-oriented.
The demand for communication and brand specialists has risen sharply in the last two years after the impact of the economic slump at the start of the new millennium.
