Controlling, Finance & Accounting (M.A.) 

Our admission requirements

1. Requirement is a university degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Business Administration or similar area (degree with grade „good“ or better) and prior knowledge in Controlling, Finance and Accounting. For the case that you have not yet received your final grade certificate you may apply by handing in a transcript of records. However, the average mark must be certified by the examination office.   
2. Enclosed to the application must be a certificate or letter of recommendation of an academic institution and/or of a company outside the academic area.
3. Very good proficiency in German (Applicants, whose mother tongue is not German must present a language certificate, which corresponds to level C1 according to the European Reference. This corresponds to DHS 2 or TestDAF Level 4).
4. Very good proficiency in English which corresponds to level B2/C1 according to the European Reference (Proof in the form of an English proficiency certificate required: IELTS, UCLES Cambridge, ICC, BEC, TOEFL, TOEIC, Unicert or KMK Zertifikat. See for details: download).
5. Applicants, who fulfill the requirements will be invited to a personal interview in the framework of the selection process. A telephone interview will be arranged with applicants who live abroad.
     

Which documents must be handed in?

• Application form 
• A recent ID picture
• A certified proof of the university entry qualification
• A certified proof of the first degree (Bachelor-/ Diploma as well as Bachelor-/Diploma certificate).
• Curriculum Vitae
• Two-page letter of motivation  
• A certificate/letter of recommendation either of an academic institution or of a company/institution outside the academic field.
• Certificate of professional experience.
• Proof of English language skills / or proof of German language skills.*
