The course contents: The combination between Strategic Human Resources Management and Consulting can only be found in this program. This program gives our graduates the opportunity to apply for a wide range of positions as well as being able to set up their own consultancy.
The focus: Development of the consultancy skills of our students in the field of methodological and social competence is a most important component of the program in this multidisciplinary approach.
The internationality: Intercultural cooperation plays a role in the composition of the student groups. Furthermore many seminars focus on international topics. In the holiday period students are able to work on international projects if they wish.
Compact part-time study program: It is possible for students to work part-time because the lectures are held from Thursdays to Saturdays. The lectures are organized so that students do not have any free periods or long waiting times between each one. The 3rd semester is reserved for the Master thesis, conducted as a project in cooperation with a company.
Studying in small groups: We have work groups of 15 to 20 students to enable interactive communication and close contact to the professors. Nobody is anonymous. Thus it is an important structural issue for us to apply team development within the group.
Teaching methods: We work together with you in seminars in which many case studies are discussed which require active participation. The case studies are real cases based on experiences of the lecturer (unlike the American case study model). There are few written examinations. Instead, students will be assessed through presentations and seminar assignments.
Contact to Business: We work together with many company representatives who pass on their practical experience to you. You are able to work with about 20 external teachers from industrial or consulting companies during the course of your studies. Therefore you will gain extensive knowledge about practical problems and solutions which would otherwise take you many years and participating many expensive seminars to acquire.
