MBA Field Trip to Strasbourg

Old Town, cathedral, European Parliament and „Tarte Flambée” – that’s what the students experienced on the field trip of the MBA International Management to Strasbourg, France.
The trip was part of the seminar “European Economics & Political Relations” taught by Prof. Dr. Wentzel, Jean Monnet Chair in European Economic Integration.
Students enjoyed a boat trip on the river Ill through the historical center of Strasbourg. After a stroll through “Petite France”, the whole group went to the European Parliament where they attended a parliamentary session.

The German Vice President of the European Parliament, Rainer Wieland, received the Pforzheim MBA students together with a group of researchers of the Steinbeis-Zentrum, Karlsruhe. There was a long and lively discussion on the future and issues of the European Union.
At the end of an interesting day came the culinary highlight in a traditional Alsatian restaurant: Tarte Flambée in all kind of variations!
